If you'd asked me a few years ago whether AI would become part of photography, I'd have been honest, and said, yeah but only as a tool.

Fast forward to today and almost every business has experimented with AI in some way. AI can write emails, design logos, create social media posts and even generate photos that look incredibly realistic.

But just because it can create images doesn't always mean it should.

As someone who spends their days photographing businesses, products and people, I've noticed something interesting. The businesses getting the best engagement aren't trying to look perfect. They're trying to look real.

And that's exactly what Google wants too.
